The board officially reversed their decision and the Emsworth Food Festival will return next year. Seeing our community rally for this tradition kept me going when I felt like giving up. We earned this win so let us celebrate our home town tonight.

I have been hearing from so many neighbors who feel the same emptiness in our town calendar since that board decision. I am currently reaching out to local business owners to gather their thoughts on how these small Sunday markets just do not replace the soul of our original festival.

Seeing this level of support reminds me why this festival is the heartbeat of our town. The momentum we have built proves that our community refuses to let this tradition vanish without a fight.

I used to plan my whole summer around this weekend. Really gutted about this news honestly.
Loved the atmosphere every year. Sunday markets just dont compare to the real festival. Please reconsider this decision.
Bring it back! Havant market is rubbish compared to what we had. This is just a bad move for the town.
Emsworth isnt the same without the festival. it brought so many people into the village and helped all the local shops. such a shame to lose it over nothing
Ridiculous decision. Who even decided this? Nobody asked us what we wanted.
