Comments: It's about time that the English language is not longer discriminated against in a country that considers Human rights a priority. I was born in Quebec and I have as much right to my language as the French have to theirs.

Comments: As a leader of the National Assembly I would expect you to lead our whole community and not be whipped lashed by those who wish to decide what is “best for all”. These rules that effect very few people make it very difficult for companies that transfer people from the US to Montreal and back again. I also question the effect on the International community, for example the International Aviation persons. Worse it make Quebec look like a silly prejudiced group of people. Legislation should deal with real problems not just optics. Show some Guts- Courage.

Comments: I am a non-resident rate payer who owns property and therefore pays school taxes in Quebec. By coice, I pay my taxes to the Eastern Shores School Board, an anglophone school, which has such a pent-up demand to attend, it is amazing. Quebec, as a society, finally needs to open up and admit its paranoid naϊveté, and get some quality ESL to itès francophone population. This can best be illustrated by the way francophone citizens will not make an effort to speak any English words while in foreign countries like Panama when they travel.

Comments: The ability of speaking both english and french gives students and adults a much greater chance of having a successful and economically challenging job and a happier life in general. There are students who have a great difficulty studying a full program in a second language and are thus handicapped for their future successes.Learning a second language does not require a full program of studies in the second language.
