Comments: I pray that all of our elected government officials learn that the economy has NOT recovered until there is job creation, that the business leaders learn to value the workers they so easily terminate because we are the ones who develop and implement the tactics and initiatives that make companies successful including the direct interaction with customers and that the hard-working and dedicated terminated and displaced workers affected by this economy learn the value of a work/life balance(work to live not live to work).

Comments: I have been out of a job for about 6 1/2 yrs. Was in a relationship to where I was a dependent mainly. I work part time at a gf's family business which brought in money. I couldn't find a job up in Gurnee, IL. The corporations are looking for Bachelor Degreed people in this poor economy. Even temp to hire agencies didn't want you especially if you are out of work for 1 1/2. Can't pick up unemployment due to I didn't work. The stats that are put out there about unemployment being a certain percent is absolutely wrong. I pray I get a job. I need to support myself. It's really getting frustrating knowing that you do have the skills that people are looking for and all they can do is send a generic letter that states that they are looking over your resume. And/or it states that the have found a better candidate that suits the position when I know I have the skills that they are looking for. Thank you God for having a post like this and that would help everyone that's been out of work for too long like me.
