Emory Letter of Concern for Grady

Dear Dr. Sanfilippo: Welcome to Emory University. We look forward to your leadership at this critical moment in Emory\'s future and in the Emory-Grady relationship. As health professional students and residents who came to Emory entirely or in part because of what Grady represents to our community and our state, we are deeply concerned by the tremendous challenges currently facing Grady. We believe that Grady is important to our future as health providers and public health experts and vital to the health of all citizens living in Georgia. We hope that as the new CEO for the Woodruff Health Sciences Center that you will be committed to working with Emory\'s current leadership to seek the long-term solution that is essential to Grady\'s survival. We urge to you to ensure that Grady is a priority and at the top of your agenda from your first day leading the Woodruff Health Sciences Center. Sincerely,

Health Students Taking Action Together, Inc. (HealthSTAT) www.healthstatgeorgia.org
