Let Eminem perform in Canada

79 Signatures Goal: 100

October 26 2000 A Canadian woman has complained about certain lyrics performed by rapper Eminem. This has lead to Ontario's Attorney-General trying to have the rapper turned back at the border so he cannot perform. The concern is particularly strong over the song "Kill You", and the lyrics "I invented violence you vile, venomous, vomital bitches." It is argued these violate Canada's laws of expression and incite violence against women. I personally think its stupid his song "kill you" isn´t supposed to be taken so seriously. He should be allowed in Canada, its not like no one can't already just pick up his CD in stores or download his music, he should be free to perform wherever he wants without censorship or restriction. Eminem has changed the world, he helps kids with their troubles and to get through stuff cause they see that someone out their feels the same way they do. Hes a lyrical genius their is a lot of worse rappers out their that are way more offensive to women. He raps about what hes been through in his life. What ever happened to freedom of speech?
