Hello Northern Lights Soccer Club members,

We are calling on your support for the construction of a building and playground at Elmcrest Park in Ramsey; the park is an integral part of the community and the Northern Lights Soccer Club.

The Ramsey Parks and Recreation Commission is proposing to expand the walking trail within Elmcrest; a new building and playground will make a perfect addition, allowing the space to be enjoyed by all.

A building would provide year-round restroom facilities for use by park-goers as well as trail users. The playground would benefit not only the surrounding neighborhoods, but would provide a place for siblings and families to go when a child is practicing on the adjacent soccer fields. Each summer season, the Northern Lights Soccer Club welcomes 1700 families to the park for soccer practice. Not only does Elmcrest serve as a local park, when visiting clubs are at the fields for games the park amenities add to the perception of the greater community. 

We are asking you to sign this petition and spread the word about our park initiative. Parks beautify the community and provide a place for residents to gather, expanding the park facilities benefits all of Ramsey.
