Women earn on average 80% of men’s wages in the workplace. Assumably with equal qualifications and competencies, women are oppressed professionally from earning fair pay and recognition in their work environments. Being that it is the 21st century it is time to do away with this archaic work system and expand fair pay to all. Eliminating the gender wage gap and basing pay on merit, not gender, is the goal.
