    Comments: Of course, plastic bags are a disaster! We need to promote reuse of cloth bags, and any other bags that are given out should be totally compostable, and probably there should be a fee for giving out even the best bags due to the garbage accumulation. In Europe the people bring their own bags... can't Americans learn to do that!

    Comments: Isn't paper going to require the cutting of more trees Just curious. It is an issue of time and convenience also. How putting or keeping them in vehicle, how many will I need., what do I do with them as I fill my cart. I admit it's important, but it is full of possible failure. Pushing recycling of the old ones would help alot more. Only my opinion.
