Chinese hackers (state-sponsored) have stolen billions of dollars in intellectual property and have recently stole advanced military technology designs, weakening the position of our armed forces. To discourage the Chinese government from their tacit (or possibly active) support of cyber-warfare operations against the U.S., we should immediately stop the issuance of student visas to Chinese nationals. This would immediately effect the families of those in power (many of the most wealthy and powerful families in Chinese industry and government send their children to American colleges and universities). Blocking off the accessibility of families in the Chinese oligarchy, to some of the best education in the world should hamper Chinese state-sponsored cyber-warfare activities.
