WE, the undersigned, petition the State of Texas to eliminate Roadblocks also known as Checkpoints, (ie: Traffic Regulatory Checkpoints, Safety Checkpoints, License Plate Checkpoints, Insurance Registration Checkpoints, Valid Driver’s License Checkpoint, etc.) as we strongly believe and feel it is in violation of our Fourth Amendment Right. In the State of Texas, it is illegal to conduct Sobriety Checkpoints under Texas’ interpretation of federal Constitution. WE demand an immediate stop of such Checkpoints in our Lone Star State. As Citizens of the State of Texas, WE, the undersigned, have come together to eliminate this infringement of our rights.
