    Comments: St Thomas is a dog town! With the rising gas prices, no one wants to drive to the London parks. A dog park in town would be great not only for current residents, but for those considering moving here as well.

    Comments: I think Elgin would benefit greatly from thier own dog park. I am new to Elgin and I would love to be able to go to my own town to take my dogs to the dog park , rather than driving to another town. Dog parks have a way of creating a beautiful sense of community.

    Comments: My Husky Mica and I have enjoyed many off-leash parks in various locations in Ontario. St. Thomas needs to get "on track". The drive to London is getting costly.

    Comments: I have been following the city issues on this and think St.Thomas needs to get with the 2000's .I have been taking my dog to the off leash park in London but with the soaring gas prices it's getting harder.Dogs need to live also.Get on board like London ,Woodstock etc.etc.etc. For the most,people do clean up after thier dog,if there is an agressive dog there people will ask the ownner to leave and in most cases this is done.Someone from city council who owns a dog should take thier pet to the off leash park off Hamilton Rd. in London and see what a remarkable thing the city has done for pets.

    Comments: We take our dog through the trails at Pinafore Park & Waterworks Park but I lost my dog once there already by letting him off leash. It would be nice to have a place where I could have him off leash knowing he couldn't escape. Thanks.
