| 480 | Anonymous | Having grown up in st. thomas, and now living in ottawa, i see how important it is to have a dog park.
Ottawa have over a dozen off leash dog park areas (some fence, some not fenced depending on the location) and its great. The dogs get to run and be happy, with the odd issue here and there, and the owners get out and get to meet their fellow city folk. I have come acrossed a few dog owners who have dogs that should not be at these parks, and they are handled by the by law services in a timely manner, and dogs that are part of the ontario pit bull ban, run muzzled and free with with their doggie friends with no issues.
Dog parks are a great idea, and when I travel back to st thomas with my 2 dogs it would be nice to have a place for them to go and play. |

The lots are smaller for those of us who own dogs, and there are alot of dogs in our neighborhood. We would love a dog park for our dogs to run off leash, excercise and socialize. I would love it if there was a park near our subdivision so I could walk to it. |

I have hounds and they cannot be off their leashes in a non enclosed area. Having a designated park in St. Thomas would be so great for all three of us! |
