Comments: I do not want to see this elevated roadway. It is a waste of public funds. Shelby County has done a terrible job of managing traffic flow, but the rest of us should not have to pay for their mistakes.

Comments: NO to the ELEVATED HIGHWAY. This elevated highway is a BAD IDEA and it will affect everyone not just Mt Brook. Citizens in Shelby County that live in Meadowbrook and Brook Highlands are against this plan also. The elevated highway will hurt our property values also. We need to look at other alternatives and not fight across neighborhoods. Remember Shelby county has one of the highest per capita incomes in the state. Our voices matter also!!!

Comments: Having worked for a highway engineering firm in graphics I can appreciate the artist's rendering. However, people viewing the image have no sense of scale in their perspectives. The visual impact will be massive and overbearing. As overbearing as the cost to the average commuter over time. Combine that with non-compete clauses that will surely be part of the contract and privatization it will be a giant debacle no one can afford.
