Comments: why not cull our own kind why be patriarchal and extend our laws to other species. And if we want to extend our laws and actions to them, why don't they have rights like we do

Comments: There is no place for a 'tool' such as culling in today’s society. There are different feasible alternatives if only the Government were competent enough to research and use them.

Comments: If we cull an animal we are giving a clear message to the world, "Conservation is pointless." If we have this attitude with the Elephant, what fate is there for all other animals Think of everyone out there who has worked so hard to keep animals alive, and this is the reward! Culling is a crazy decision from those who cannot decide if its animals are important or not.

Comments: Please remove Culling as an option in the National Norms and Standards for Elephant Management (NNSEM). There must be another solution that is respectful of the rights of animals and that his death not be taken as a diversion from unscrupulous persons. Thanks

Comments: Shame on you South Africa, to destroy sucha beautiful, intelligent animals. Stop this insanity!! There are far to many people in the world. Does this mean we'll have to kill them There are other solutions to these 'problems'. Give them back the land that was once their land. Sincerely, Olivia Seynaeve, Belgium
