Name: Christine Cuthbertson on Jun 9, 2008Comments: There is a lack of consistency in policy. Expecting off campus to use internet access should also mean the ability to provide assignments etc by the same vehicle. The supply by snail mail is inappropriate - I have done a number of subjects so far and have to say the duplication at times adds to the stress of the work which is not the overall goal fo the study. It would be great if offcampus students could only need to submit electronically rather than go through the labyrinth of options becoming served up at the moment.Flag

Name: Jane on Jun 10, 2008Comments: The time allowance for posting assignments for off-campus students I believe disadvantages students as on campus students have until 3-5pm on the day of due date to complete their work whereas we lose days especially weekends when postingFlag

Name: Renai Jungwirth on Jun 11, 2008Comments: We are living in a world of technology. We should be able to submit essays online. It can be difficult to get to post offices in working hours. As well, posting means that we as off campus students lose 2-3 days as we have to post in advance of due date.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Jul 21, 2008Comments: Really important for students requiring that extra flexibility around so many other commitments; should a student have their day interrupted just to go into Uni to drop off an assignment - times one might need to take public transport down can result in up to a total of 2hrs wasted just to get there and back again. Not efficient. If online submission can be made easy and safe, and the assessors are OK with it then why not!Flag

Name: Emily Cheah on Mar 23, 2010Comments: I am a postgraduate student and I have 2 days of class per week. When it comes to handing in assignments, I have to make the epic trip from the CBD to campus just to drop off 5 sheets of paper when classes are not ongoing. It is ridiculous in terms of cost and wasted time.Flag
