These cars obviously have a cult following of people obsessed with the style and fun factor of these cars, and I think that people who would not normally consider buying a MIni would be interested in a MiniEV simply because of the zero- emissions and no cost for gas. |

It will allow us to do so much for protecting ourselves from not only foreign dependence, but full on fluctuations in any one energy producing sector by allowing us to offset shortfalls in one area with gains (or purposeful production ramp ups) in another area. America NEEDS cars like these.... Look at where GM and the other "Big three" american companies are - everyone's rushing to put EV's or some other fuel efficient cars on the road by 2010. Even with a range of 30 to 40 miles electric - you're talking HUGE gains. You guys could MILK the market early if you would just take the risk. Those dollars that would have gone to light and heavy trucks? They're out there waiting to be spent on something that can be realistically maintained even with surging oil prices. Take advantage. Help america. Help the world. |
