Comments: Neighbors all all sides of me have SBC DSL. When I called to get it they said "Sorry, no more lines available in your area." They said if enough people contact SBC requesting DSL, they would install more lines. Still waiting!

Comments: I'm a partner in two small businesses and have worked as a programmer at home in outskirts of Placerville for the last 5 years. Since affordable high-speed Internet access hasn't been available, I have had to resort to paying $642/month for a T1-line to my home office. I know there is fiber within 3 miles of my home. I need affordable DSL and/or high-speed wireless ASAP.
