In the interest of reestablishing trust and transparency and in full support of any future proposed bond package by our school district, we request that Dr. Wellman and the Eanes Independent School District Board of Trustees engage an independent auditing firm to conduct a full and complete audit and produce a full report of the use of proceeds of the $53 Million issued under the bond election of 2006.  We ask that the auditing firm report exclusively to the Board of Trustees, and request that the report: 

  1)  list the original, detailed, proposed use of proceeds;
  2)  innumerate the changes from that original, detailed plan that were approved by the Board  of Trustees;
  3)  innumerate all changes from the original, detailed plan that were initiated and approved by EISD administrators without Board approval;
  4) the sources and uses of any 2006 proceeds that were "reclassifed" by EISD financial department personnel; and
  5) clearly show the final uses of the 2006 bond compared to the original intent as approved by the taxpayers.

Without such a report, we cannot support additional bond programs that may be placed on the ballot in the future.
