As a Member of the local community, I would like to comment on how successful and peaceful this March was. I was very pleased with the organisation of the whole event and the fact that public interest and safety were given priority. As the weather conditions were very poor, expected snow, the March still managed to attract a few thousand people. The atmosphere was very festive and joyous. Many member of the community commented on how pleased and honoured they were to be able to witness such an event. I personally feel that it brings us all together. The local mosques that took part offered excellent facilities to the participants. Overall, I would like to thank the mosque committee and local communities for allowing such a great event take place in our area. I hope we can continue to celebrate Eid Milad Un Nabi in the future.
