Name: Lisa Bayrami on Apr 19, 2007Comments: I am currently working on my thesis and I require access to the library materials over the next 4 months. The spring/summer tuition fee that I pay to the University basically entitles me to a library card. If the library closure limits my access to the much needed materials during these crucial months then my ability to complete my thesis in a timely manner (by the end of the summer) is seriously hindered. This situation is extremely unfair. Other Universities have dealt with this very issue without limiting student access to library materials. If this in fact does occur then a tuition rebate seems just! This is very disappointing considering that York is a learning institutions!Flag
