Say no to EGadz in Hampton Village

The petition

It was recently brought to the attention of the Hampton Village community that two houses have been purchased with the intent to be used as part of the Egadz ‘My Home’ project for at risk youth. These houses will be the 5th & 6th such houses in the Hampton Village and Dundonald neighbourhoods, and are located at 119 & 311 Allwood Crescent. Hampton Village is only a partially developed neighbourhood; we lack easy access to entertainment, buses, and other services. New construction is the most expensive method of providing housing; custom houses with double attached garages are hardly the most affordable housing available in this city.

We, the undersigned were not consulted regarding these projects being placed in our neighbourhood, and are vehemently opposed to the EGADZ “My Home� projects located at 311 & 119 Allwood Crescent, and any additional projects being planned for this community.
