We have no confidence in the current Everton Chairman or his Board and demand that he begins to actively seek fresh ownership / investment in the Club. The Chairman increasingly appears to be placing his personal vanity ahead of the long term future of the club, primarily through his reluctance to actively encourage fresh investment interest - at a time when more minor clubs (Portsmouth, Birmingham) appear to be able to do so. They have signally failed to progress the club due to a lack of fresh investment. Any such attempts to do so have either been missed (Gregg) or mere pipe dreams (Fortess Fund) They missed a wonderful opprtunity to relocate to Kings Dock - in Liverpool itself - due to a lack of finance.... and we are about to see our fierce rivals occupy a state of the art new stadium on our doorstep. Wosrt of all - our very soul is now under threat - as this Board is backing a potentially disastrous plan to relocate the Club to a soulless retail park off the M57... which would damage the status and dynamic of Everton FC for generations. This wonderful club of ours deserves better. We have a poor record of collectively voicing our concerns. Put that right and register your discontent here and now - and we will ensure the media are made aware.
