Comments: Please do not destroy the democratic system that has proven to be superior to any in history. The secret ballot should be something that every Democrat and Republican in America should respect. It is incomprehensible that someone who says they support the America would propose to support a dictatorship style of election.

Comments: UNITE HERE! is presently attempting to pressure our company Milum Textile Services to agree to card check. We have first hand seen many of the abuses of this system that never occur with a secret ballot, government supervised election. We have seen employees who speak foreign languages that the organizers do not speak sign cards put in front of them in the earliest days of the campaign before these employees had any idea of what the issues were about. Employees who changed their minds after becoming more informed could not rescind the cards. Employees sign the cards without having any idea that union dues are required for unino representation.

Comments: What do the American people not get Employee Free Choice Act ends collective Bargaining as we know it! How many employees like Government deciding their contracts for them How many employees will like all the union home visits in the middle of night to make them sign "card checks" What this is about is the end of employer free speech and employee democracy--what will it take to wake Business to this and the workers of America Please tell your friends to sign this petition now and call your Congressman to oppose EFCA now!

Comments: Once a union memeber as well as a representative, I know both sides of the issue. Unions should stick to helping employees who cant help themselves. In no way should they sign on thier members in a block vote to any political party . Our political votes should be our own . And our political awareness should be the responsiblity of the indiviual. Not a power play to political panderers

Comments: Free choice should mean: 1. My right to exercise the American principle of a secret ballot. 2. My right a political process where both the company and union state their cases and I am free from intimidation from either party. 3. My right to the union of my choice based on a competitive process. 4. My right to decertify a union which I feel has not represented my best interests. This bill does nothing to guarantee those fundimental choices which should be available to every American worker.

Comments: The union supporters and politicians have said that "...it is undemocratic to subject employees to a secret ballot election." What they are really saying is that, once employees hear the truth about the false promises unions make, the union has no chance to win an election. Stop this Employee Free Choice Act now!

Comments: As has been pointed out many times, this bill is poorly named. Instead of EFCA (Employee Free Choice Act), it should be named UFCA (Union Freedom from Choice Act), because it attempts to free unions from employee decisions to reject union lies and corruption.

Comments: This is another incident in which Senator Kennedy and his minions attempt to mislead the American public. We need less government interference in our lives, not more! Legal parameters are already in place -- now government should just get out of the way and let the employees and employers work out any diferences they may have.

Comments: I worked in union shop and I sent the petition to NLRB to call the union to a vote. The only reason I was able to get the required signers was luck. But after all the threats and uneasy working enviorment for three months the union was voted out with not vote in favor of the union staying. After the vote I was thanked by everyone who had made my life rough for the three months prior. The employeer gave us a pay raise, more sick day's and 401K. Best thing that ever happened. But if the public record petition was the only way to have removed the union it would still be a union shop! Do not take away this right of the working men and women of the United States!
