Students in the state of Iowa are seeing that student acheivement and test scores are on the decline, graduation rates are not what they should be, minority kids are struggling in schools, and rural areas are hurt by the places they go to school. The solution to this problem is education reform. What this means is that every school has the same curriculum so that all students are getting the same world class education opportunities. We can put education reform into action simply by allowing the government to give schools 372 more dollars per student per year. By doing this, we would see dramatic increases in student succession throughout their education career. The government always tells us to invest in our education, but we cannot fully invest ourselves unless they invest in our education as well.
