Name: Myrna P Delos Santos on Mar 14, 2008Comments: statistic shows that majority of medication does not help children or even adults. I've learned through hypnosis, we can train our mind and thoughts to be a better person. I was a victim of depression during childhood and now a patient of hypnotherapy. And now I'm also learning to be a hypnotherapist, because I want to help so many children and people everywhere. Hypnosis has helped me so I know that it could help others too.Flag

Name: Kim Mrotz on Jan 8, 2010Comments: A preschool teacher tried to label my child the first week. I will not let that happen. She did not even try with hime. 1 wek in her class and she said he was ADHD. I took him to our doctor. Doctor said he was not, he behavior was only rowdy in one setting. The teacher thought my doctor was an idiot and so was I. We left that school and hes doing very well. He having a blast and learning tons. I will homeschool my child before I allow him to be labeled.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Jan 13, 2010Comments: My child suffers from ADD/ADHD and has been on about every medication out there for this condition. The medications have many side effects that can actually kill your child. My child began having heart problems and really bad mood swings that he didn't have before taking these meds. Let's fight together to stop the medications and help our children in therapeutic ways such as those offered by Quantum.Flag

Name: Cindy Sutherland on Feb 19, 2010Comments: I coped with ADHD through exercise and mindful nature walks and doing figure eights on the ice. As a child I trained as a figure ice skater, as well as , run, cycled, skied, hiked. Exercise grounded me and helped me focus and I was able to do well in school. Later I became a yoga teacher drawn it's ability to reduce stress and help me focus with my work, and daily tasks of life. I'm 48 and I have never been on meds, but have always ate well eating lots of fruits and vegetables and movement which led me to breathwork and meditation. I fully support the work you are doing. Self-healing is empowering and taking medication is enabling with harmful side affects. I agree it should be used as a last resort. Sincerely, Cindy Sutherland, MA, CYTFlag

Flag
