This is a petition to the City of Mesquite to take into consideration a hike and bike trail through Edgemont Park in Mesquite.

Edgemont Park is an old neighborhood and was established in the 1950's. The City of Mesquite has decided to allocate funds for a hike and bike trail and we would like them to start here at Edgemont Park.

ALSO.....

Since the city of Balch Springs doesn't have a safe route for elementary school students to walk to school on Hickory Tree. I am hoping the City of Mesquite will create a safe Hike and Bike Trail from Edgemont Park to McWhorter Elementary.

Please sign my petition if you support safe routes to school! Please help support a Hike and Bike Trail for the citizens of Edgemont Park and the innocent children of McWhorter Elementary who deserve the very best despite anyone or any towns financial situtation. Please forward to anyone you know who cares about the safety of elementary school students. Anyone can sign this petition! Anyone who cares about the safety and well being of McWhorter Elementary students!
