If you are not a former, current, or future student (or if you did not accrue debt) - your signature denotes that you strongly believe the student debt crisis is a massive problem. 

Future, Current, and Former Students of Higher Education: Current and Future- Are you and or your parents (planning to) taking out loans to pay for your education? Are you worried about the employment opportunities available to you when you graduate? Do you think you will earn an adequate salary to live and make monthly payments toward your student debt? Former- Are you (and/or your parents) in thousands of dollars of debt due to investing in higher education? Are you unable to make the monthly payments for you student loans? Do you continue to defer your debt hoping you will get a higher paying job or "hit the lotto"? If there was another option would you be interested? (Current and Future) An option that required you to work 15-20 hours a week and in return could pay for an entire semester within four months (12 credit hours). (Former) An option that required you to work a 10-20 hours a week and in return could pay 50-100% of your monthly student loan payment. Signing this petition states that you are a current or former student in debt for higher education. If you are a future student then you are anticipating going into debt to receive higher education. Signing this petition also states that you would take advantage of an opportunity to help pay for your education opposed to taking out loans. If you are a former student you would take advantage of an opportunity to help pay your current debt.
