Name: Douglas H. Wood on Jun 13, 2009
Comments: Jack Eddy was one of those few scientists who are able take empirical observations and transform them into an important theory. Naming the next solar grand minimum in his honor is even more appropriate given his naming of Maunder Minimum after Edward W. Maunder, when he could have named it after himself as many scientists would have done.
