21611 Tera MartinezI sell dresses, tutus, pettiskirts shirts, bows, etc all handmade to help support my family of 5 and allow me to be a stay at home mom. I cannot afford to be put out of business by this rediculous law.

21613 Sammuel SzetoWe need more time to modify our existing quality system to fulfill the CPSIA requirments. And, we cannot affort the expensive thirdy party testing costs. So, we think that the thirdy party certification should not be mandatory to apply. We could use self-certification to instead the thirdy party certification.

21618 Beau LewisThese laws need to be good for children AND American companies (specifically SMALL businesses). Obama claims he is for small businesses and economic growth, but this hurts a lot of people that are producing American made products and employing American workers.

21620 Monica DennisWe are already aware of the safety of children and there must be some sort of way for us to meet standards in a more affordable way.

This "surprise" act that has been mandated has been a devastating blow at a time when I could not afford another setback. Thank God that I was able to drum up a few loyal customers before this hit me between the eyes and put me in a panic, and that they have been very understanding. I

21645 Susan BaerI believe that the lead content should be placed on items by the manufacturer of the items so that the consumer and micro-manufacturers, such as myself, who purchase and use these components for personal or small business use can choose products that will comply with the law.
