What do we want HCISD(Harlingen)to do? To change our traditional class schedules back to our advanced schedules. Why is it important? Because the students learned more in five block classes than in nine 45 minute classes. Also we were able to take more upper level and college classes in one year than an average student would in four years. The traditional schedules are constantly conflicting with our college classes. Not only that, but we are only taking the bare minimum of college courses offered to us. Early College High School is about getting ahead and graduated with almost two years of college done. Now our school is turning into one of the normal high schools.
