Liverpool ECHO fight on fuel costs

The petition

We the undersigned call for immediate action to control the unacceptable charges and profits of gas, electricity and water companies, and to get the companies to adjust charges in accordance with lower wholesale prices, with immediate effect. In addition we call for the government to further impose a windfall tax on these companies and to re-examine the criteria used by their appointed assessors in relation to any future price increase proposals.
