| 103 | Schuyler Thorpe | I'd like to see them print *out* the 1500+ page monsters that I am writing! :0) |
| 104 | Linda Mooney | Epublishing is a new standard in publishing. Therefore, the law needs to catch up with technology, and protect authors and publishing companies. |
| 105 | Virginia Morrison | We as people of this great country need to protect the rights of writers and publishers with rights to their material. |

| 108 | Debi Sullivan | As a freelance editor I have firsthand knowledge of the dedication that goes into an author's work. Why should their words be stolen? Wouldn't want your car jacked, now would you?
Similar type of crime...different kind of playing field. |

| 113 | Vincent Diamond | Our intellectual property is no less deserving of protection than movies, television and music. |

| 115 | Judy Odowichuk | I think it's horrendous that authors are left to their own defences when their work is stolen. |
| 116 | John Gorman | What is not clear is to whom the petition is to be directed. |

It is worse when these pirates defend their thefts by saying they are 'helping' us writers by 'promoting' our books. These thieves must be stopped and procesuted. |

| 125 | Angela Chaney | |
| 126 | Brenda Porter | As an epublished author, I find this deplorable. |
| 127 | Jennifer DiCamillo | Piracy is against copyright laws...which need to be enforced. I say...put the perpetrators in prison. |
| 128 | Cris Anson | As a published author (both electronically and in paper), I agree that copyrights should be respected, whether in books, music, movies, or whatever. What good are laws if no one adheres to them?

| 136 | Maureen Sevilla | I believe artist rights should be protected in all media. |

| 139 | Denyse Bridger | I am an eBook author, as well as traditionally published, and this kind of piracy really IS immoral, as well as illegal. I hope something is done to put an end to it. |

| 142 | Susan Macatee | If authors and publishers lose out because of this, there will be fewer books published resulting in less choices for readers.
Very few writers make enough to write full-time. |
| 143 | Lee Rowan | If this situation had an impact on big corporate publishers, we'd be seeing some action from the FBI. |
| 144 | Mina Gerhart | |
| 145 | Anita Whiting | I agree with the above. Ebooks are the future and their authors need to be protected. Unless there is some kind of restriction people like me will cease to explore that option and simply continue to strive to be published by the "big boys." That would be unfortunate as ebooks make it affordable for so many readers to purchase them without spending a sizable amount of money, which in this struggling economy, is very important.
