Name: Anonymous on Apr 21, 2009Comments: You have my full support for your petition. I am a struggling, to say the least, power seller on eBay and I have said for some time now, that some of ebays practices surely cannot be 100% legal. I have also noticed about the drop in DSR ratings before discounts are worked out.Flag

Name: A James on Mar 30, 2010Comments: Down with the corrupt DSR rating system. I swear if eBay's DSR faggotry results in my account being suspended, then I will unleash a text file detailing over 3000 of my buyers names, addresses, ebay IDs and phone numbers via the TPB torrent site. All it takes is a couple of clicks. Suck on that eBay, I have the trump card.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Mar 11, 2011Comments: EBay claims that DSR manipulation by buyers who buy from you repetitively and show a pattern of leaving positive feedback but very low DSRs is prohibited. I work for a company that sells in very high volume and we see customers do this all of the time. Why? So they can get your auctions at lower prices. EBay should have some system of detecting them and crack down on these buyers. If eBay has systems in place to crack down on shill bidders and catch prohibited items, then how much harder would it be to have a system to catch buyers? I have had 4 buyers do this to our account in the last 6 months and they did a ton of damage to our DSRs. If one customer out of 6000+ can account for 25% of your total low scores in one month, how is that a fair system?Flag

Name: Anonymous on Jul 9, 2011Comments: This rating system is totally unfair to the seller. I have had 100% feedback for 3 years and I have lost my top-rated seller status. I have glowing feedback and no one ever says anything negative in their feedback. All eBay ever says is all you have to do is offer free shipping, I cannot do that and make a living...Flag

Name: Anonymous on Aug 26, 2011Comments: I have 98.9% feedback and been Ebay seller for years. Below are my stats Item as described 4.60 Communication 4.83 Shipping time 4.83 Shipping and handling charges = 4.22 I have been "indefinitely" blocked from selling because i have 4.22 out 5 S&H rating. I explicitly tell buyers, please do not bid if you don't agree with S&H fee but they still do and give less than 4 star rating. RidculousFlag

Name: Gregory Porter on Mar 25, 2012Comments: I think the DSR system is unfair because it is a discriminatory system which cannot be policed. A low DSR has nothing to do with the seller’s performance, it reflexes the buyer’s attitude at any given moment and holds the sellers funds hostage. This becomes a weapon which is used by the buyer to extort money, goods and services from the seller by promising to destroy the sellers rating if they don’t concede. Ebay says they will hold funds for sellers who have low dsr’s to insure the arrival of goods sold. If the seller has never made a habit of not sending purchased merchandise to their buyers then they should not be penalized for something that did not occur.Flag

Name: Lois Payne on Apr 3, 2012Comments: i have 100% positive feedback with FOUR low dsr's for ITEM NOT AS DESCRIBED. is it possible that 4 buyers were displeased with the item but gave good feedback along with the invisible low dsr stars? something stinks on ebay and its costing me hundreds of dollars because of the low mysterious dsr stars. i am just about ready to throw in the towel. i have been on ebay for more than 10 yrs with over 3000 feedbacks.Flag

Name: Jeff on Apr 10, 2012Comments: ebay will manipulate your dsr ratings. I have proof. They have done this to my account. I run reports so I know who leaves what for DSR. My reports show that only 2 buyers left 1's. Yet my dsr count on my board shows 3. how is that possible when no user left a 3rd low rating(1 or 2)? It seems like when you challange ebay about how faulty and shitty their system and policys are they dont like this and personaly feel like they are out to get me. Been selling on eBay 10 years, 99.9 or 100% accounts always and eBay always finds some loop hole to destroy small biz's they dont like.Flag
