Comments: It's a shame that ebay was pushing for stores and now is making it nearly impossible for many to stay open. It's also a shame that these major companies can only think of the almighty dollar instead of how they got where they are today...buyers AND sellers! Ebay needs to show more appreciation instead of stabbing their loyal customers (sellers) in the back. Without sellers there would be no ebay!

Comments: It is a shame that e-bay feels the need to do this. They really are going to lose a lot of sellers, and in turn buyers becuase the sellers that stay will feel the need to increase their prices. I think it is a horriible decision for e-bay to raise the fees, and I really hope that they realize what will happen if they go through with this.

Comments: Ebay has been a way for me to not only generate some extra income for my family to do fun things but was also going to be a way for me to generate the income I needed to pay down some bills. I'm sure that Bill and Meg have no trouble paying their bills! I'm sure that they do not live paycheck to paycheck like so many ebay store owners are doing at this very moment. If I do not increase the amount of items in my store it's not going to be worth me keeping it open. And if I do not have a store open you better believe I'm not running auctions! Thanks Bill and Meg for being so supportive of the "little people" that keep you in your lap of luxury!!

Comments: Stores are what's making up the "core" of Ebay. Your buyers don't want to wait for auctions to end anymore, that's why they turn to stores, find "IT", buy "IT". Isn't that what your commercials advertise

Comments: It is obvious that ebay is commited to shuttering the stores they initially embraced. This foolish move will only result in the demise of ebay as other sites gain popularity and attract great sellers. You are shooting yourself in the foot.

Comments: If the fees need to increase, at least give stores more exposure. Also, an across the board store subscription fee raise would be better for all instead of a per item fee hike!!!!!!!!!!

Comments: I think it is a very bad business Decision on the part of Ebay Inc. to Raise Store Inventory Fees by more than 50% in some cases and by also penalizing a store sale for BEING a store sale by raising the final value fees to 10%. Considering that Ebays Sister Company Paypal also gets on average 3% that is a total of 13% coming off of our items over under $25.00! The Fees need to be Lowered! Why such an extreme!! You BEG people to open an ebay store and when it becomes popular you completely take away ALL promotion of the stores and you raise the fees! How can you raise the fees when you are doing nothing to enhance the service! BAD BUSINESS EBAY!!!

Comments: We have been working for a year to build our store and our customer base. We simply can not afford any higher fees! We will be looking to move to another site or opening up our own online store. Auctions do not bring the type of income a store does. The structure of your "new"fees, it only hurts the little guy - those just starting out. We ask you reconsider! There has to be another way to return to auction base other than sticking it to sellers to "force them" to sell on auction and lose money. Either way its lose lose for sellers and win win for Ebay Execs.

Comments: Why are you outsourcing those who has helped build ebay and make them what they are today What was the purpose of swindling and lying to Sellers to open up a store and put their hard earned time and money into some that you "ebay" said that you would promote and make ebay a place for those that run auctions and those that have stores. This is a lie, you earn our money, time and trust and then in the end you screw us with no vaseline. COmpletely unfair and you are making ebay look more like ENRON then a real business.

Comments: Ebay stores is the main source of your business. So why do you want to raise the fees to where people are going to be closeing the store You will be cutting down your customers on your own by doing this! The fee's are already high enough as they are. Becides not everyone can wait around for auctions to end at wee hour's of the morning If you lower the fees you will be closing the stores on your own.
