We petition the Boards of Directors of Shore Health System and the University of Maryland Medical System to locate any new and expanded hospital facilities in or adjacent to Easton. A relocation of our hospital away from Easton would jeopardize the health care of the community that founded and has sustained it, have a devastating effect on our local economy, and be the opposite of smart growth.
