This petition is regarding the fact that the character Honey Mitchell has been axed from Eastenders due to the fact that the writers are unable to produce any new storylines for her. The actress Emma Barton has portrayed Honey for 3 years and has been a huge asset to the show. As fans of Honey we are upset about the desicion and have started a campaign to keep Honey in the square. Honey first appeared in the square in 2005 as the new love interest for long time resident Billy Mitchell. Over that time viewers have invested in their relationship as we have seen them get married and start a family together. Viewers also witnessed Honey go through a traumatic time when she found out her first born, daughter Janet had Downs Syndrome. Honey did not want to keep Janet, she wanted to have her adopted. However Honey then showed how much love she had to give, when she made the decision to keep Janet. It
