Comments: 1. 100 ft FPL transmission lines will ruin the rural effect of the whole area. A similar phone tower has already been turned down by the county planners as it would have had a devastating effect on the area. 2. Safety is another issue as we have low flying aircraft in this area that fly at night - these poles would not be light. 3. In the UK it has been proven that these transmission lines hugely increase the risk of cancer , particularly for children. 4. There in no need to waste money in rerouting these lines when FPL have already chosen a route that has the least effect

Comments: Our neighborhoods are already established with power needs established. FPL is aware of this and that is why the suggested route is purposed.

Comments: These lines will destroy the beauty of this rural area. They should run where they not not bother esisting homes

Comments: FPL does not serve us; Peace River Electric does, and we already have their power lines in front or our homes. We don't want yet another electric company's gigantic poles and lines diminishing the quality of our rural life and the value of our properties. Let FPL's lines affect those they serve, not us. SMR is NOT more important than we individual citizens are...unless government allows them to be. Please don't let this happen!

Comments: FPL listened to the people of Manatee County in 2006 and respectively selected the appropriate preferred route for the Bobwhite-Manatee 230Kv Transmission Line. The preferred route impacts the fewest homes and will be least impacted by any future roadway development. SMR regardless of their money should not be considered the "majority voice".
