Comments: Due to the lower property values of the homes near the transmission lines, the taxable values will also be significantly reduced resulting in lower county income! That is an immediate result while the future developments will have no immediate effect on the county budget.

Comments: Please preserve our rural lifestyle. I and my family have lived east of 75 off Fruitville for 28 years. New residents should not take precedence over existing, long-term neighborhoods.

Comments: This line is primarily to benefit SMR's "planned" growth, yet they don't want the power line crossing their empty land. They believe it is fair to inflict the line -- and possible health effects and definite property value declines -- on already-built homes and neighborhoods. Let's have some fairness and common sense in this issue!

Comments: We already live in Manatee County, pay taxes and vote. Our area is one of natural beauty to be preserved. The FLP preferred route is clearly designed to inconvenience as few residents as possible and to impact preserve areas as little as possible: it should be adhered to.

Comments: I do NOT want to look out of my windows at a transmission pole of this size. Nor do I want to drive under it every time I come and go from my home. It is not right to place a transmission line such as this in people's neighborhoods!
