   Comments: I have just been made aware of the trouble that Earnock finds itself in by family who still live in the area. I give my best wishes to all who are involved in preserving the school. It's heartening to see the community I once lived in stand up against the proposed change, the motives for which are dubious at best. Good luck in fighting the good fight.

    Comments: Its been a long time since I have been there, but I can remember even when it was opened by Larry Marshall. It served me well and Im sure a lot of others. This is a big community area and the school is certainly needed for this community, it not only served Hillhouse, but also Laighstonehall and Fairhill. To send these people to Blantyre is incredibly, I thought only these crazy decisions came from retired MPs sitting in the European parliment. I miss the old place and yep would go back tomorrow only if I was younger

    Comments: I was shocked to hear that South Lanarkshire Council were proposing to close my old School! This school has come a long way since it was a Junior Secondary School. I do hope that it stays open and continues to educate pupils from Hamilton.

    Comments: Having lived in Blantyre and attended Blantyre High School for a very short time before going to Earnock High i feel it would be a real shame to close the school as it offered me a far better education than that i received at Blantyre High.
