    Comments: I was a lifelong Dale Earnhardt fan. I think it only appropriate to retire the number 3. In other sports the numbers are retired of athletes who are the best of the best on their team. Dale Earnhardt was one of the greatest if not the greatest stock car driver of all time. I don't think it would be right for anybody to ever race a car with this number on it again. Please honor this legend by this simple act, as it will help settle the minds of many Earnhardt fans such as myself who loved the Intimidator so much. Thank you.
