The Town Of North Hempstead is trying to get rid of the Canada Geese and their offspring by "murdering them using Carbon Monoxide gas!!!!" This is NOT HUMANE. There are other solutions to the problem of the "droppings"{ which are not harmful to humans, by the way} The towns politicians, along with others claim that the Geese are a nuisance and create a mess. (which they don't know how to clean) So their solution is "EXTERMINATION"! Eventually the Geese will return or new ones will come like their ancestors before them! People feed the Geese and they like the surroundings that they residein. Please sign this petition and contact the North Hempstead Supervisor, Jon Kaimans office .
