We The Undersigned would like to express our extreme disapproval of the new UNCG E-Spartan email system. Though the few additions brought in by E-Spartan may have meagerly enhanced our email experience at UNCG , the removal of certain other features have outweighed the additions and have made it very difficult for student users to navigate their email. Two such features are the ability to forward emails to an outside account and to access UNCG email using a POP/IMAP client such as Microsoft's Outlook or Apple's Entourage. The Undersigned request that you reinstate the ability to do these functions. For students to be required to log into E-Spartan using a web client is absolutely absurd! For Macintosh users, the web based client causes even more problems since there is no Macintosh support. Also, for students and faculty/staff there should be more than one choice for a desktop client. Please make everyone's email experience at UNCG better by reinstating both email forwarding and POP/IMAP capabilities.
