This is a petition for Blizzard to implement dynamic unit movement in Starcraft 2. Here are some articles and threads on forums explaining how dynamic movement works and why it is good for Starcraft as an eSport:

Some quick key benefits of dynamic movement for Starcraft 2 mentioned (details and explanations are in the threads posted above):
1. It will make the game look more visually appealing because armies will look much bigger. 2. It will be easier to tell the difference between units and will be more entertaining to watch as a spectator.
3. It will raise the skill ceiling in terms of micro. A key point taken from a poster regarding the problem of unit turning into balls:

"Currently it is NOT possible to SPREAD the army (only while standing still, but you'll have to move at one point which will make the army ball up again). Currently you can DIVIDE the army in a few smaller groups of clumped units, but that's not spreading, it is dividing/splitting which still makes balls of units."

4. The issue of "deathballs" will be resolved. Battles will be longer, dynamic, and more in-depth because of this.

This would truly improve Starcraft 2 in terms of gameplay. We understand that it will take time to re-balance the game due to this big change in mechanics, but we believe that this will be most beneficial for Starcraft 2 in the long run. Starcraft 2 is still young and being patched, it would be more beneficial to make this change now while the game is young.
