This is to show how many Mets fans come to see Jose and David play. Without them the Mets would have almost no fan base and would continue losing money. We need them here to help us win, and to build around them. They are the key to winning and are now the veterans of this team. Reyes and Wright are STILL the future of a winning ball club in Flusing. The Mets can't afford to choose between them. Winning means keeping them BOTH. David has made it clear that he is loyal to this team and wants to help be part of the solution. As well as Jose, who is an irreplaceable superstar that is worth the risk of injuries. Although the budget it tight, the Mets NEED them.
