Anonymous | I would love to be able to buy more unreleased soundboad recordings, I hope this is a new trend.
Mike M | Come on Columbia, let us download a few live tracks!!!

Martin McGowan | A great idea - release interesting/unusual songs from each tour - the sort of stuff that used to be on bobdylan.com - professionally recorded and well chosen, you'd have me as a regular customer for sure.
Anonymous | I would prefer these to be distributed in lossless format rather than lossy formats like mp3, even if they are higher-quality like used on ipods.

Paul Dakin | Also, isn't it about time that CBS gave New Pony Records the license to distribute live Dylan CDs of note?

Adam Bosman | Great idea. Live Bob I'll buy!

| 18 | Anonymous | A great idea for the completest, the thought of being able to download rarities is more than welcome, how about rare singles and B-sides also like "Red Cadillac And A Black Moustache."
Make the prices affordable though! |
Anonymous | Please!!!
Simon Stewart | Great idea! Quality control, artistic rights, commercial sense and an abundance of Bobness - all in one idea.

Anonymous | Please do this!

Anonymous | I would pay through the nose, if only more live recordings were made available.
François Jacques | L'oeuvre de Dylan est vivante. Soir après soir elle change et évolue. C'est pourquoi les fans en ont besoin. Elle se doit d'être accessible. Pour le plaisir de nos oreilles et le bien-être de notre âme...

Richard Saint | This is a great idea with presumably low overhead.

Matt Groneman | Some possiblities might be the revelatory Summer '07 version of Shelter From the Storm or the gorgeous Spring '06 version of Lonesome Death of Hattie Carroll. Although iTunes is viable, I'm sure several fans also enjoy hard copies, and it may be viable to release compilations of these tracks. I know at one point, briefly before the iTunes launch, Sony had a website where fans could construct their own Dylan CD of rare recordings. I was saving up to buy one as I was a broke college student, when the site mysteriously disappeared. It was a great idea and should be reconsidered.
Daniel Mackay | I endorse this statement
Bradley Hartman Bakken |
Fannie Collymore | I think this is a great idea. We go to concerts to see&hear artists perform their works in ways that are different from studio recordings. I already buy lots of music and the occasional video from iTunes -- I would prefer this method of obtaining live video -- I do not download anything from questionable sources. Thanks for thinking of us.

Stephen Windham | I second all of the above. I would also like to see Sony and Apple work out an agreement to release all of the Basement Tapes on iTunes.

Anonymous | Yes, we need more official live bob! We need good recordings...............iTunes & CD's

john rockwood | like the old paramount blues 78's these would be valued and a source of inspiration

Anonymous | Yes, I am in favour of this idea though I would prefer it if Sony would make Bob Dylan's live work available on their own site (with a charge, of course) or on their new web message board
