Dear Real World Casting, I believe my roommate and friend, Dustin McDonald, is a prefect candidate to be on MTV’s next season of the Real World, and here is why… Everyone who meets Dustin loves him! He is outgoing and overly dramatic, which adds to his fun loving personality. If there is a party going on or outing downtown, Dustin is the life of the party. However, do not be mistaken, he will not hesitate to openly broadcast his opinion. Born in Snellville, Georgia, Dustin grew up at Georgia’s Lake Oconee in Cuscowilla neighborhood, which was rated #1 in the 40 Best Real Estate Golf Courses in America by Golf & Travel magazine. He graduated high school from Gatewood Schools, a private school in Eatonton, Georgia, and currently attends Athens Technical College in Athens, Georgia. He hopes to transfer to Gainesville State College to earn a degree in Psychology. Although Dustin enjoys a good time, he understands the responsibilities that go along with being an adult. All throughout high school, he worked part-time ant Cuscowilla’s golf course and at the pizza restaurant located at Lake Oconee, Mellow Mushroom. After graduation, Dustin began working at his dad’s gas station in Covington, Georgia. Yet, after his freshman year at Gainesville State College, Dustin took the partying to the max, which took him out of his parents’ good graces. His grades declined leaving him with the responsibility of paying his college tuition, Athens apartment rent, and car insurance. However, Dustin’s parents and family are very loving and supportive of him, especially his Meme, Nana, and younger sister Morgan. Dustin suffers from Attention Defect Disorder (ADD), but he understands that he must take extra precautions to sustain his responsibilities. Furthermore, Dustin has many interests. Unlike the typical male, Dustin likes to keep up with the latest Hollywood gossip, electronic/dance/pop/jam band music, and the new movie releases. He loves to read novels, and is a huge fan of primetime television: Gossip Girl, One Tree Hill, Grey’s Anatomy, True Blood, and the Vampire Diaries. In addition, Dustin has read all the books in the Twilight Saga, Harry Potter series, and True Blood series. He also loves to travel, especially in Europe where he spent several weeks summers ago. When asked where his favorite travel destination is, Amsterdam is the first he shouts in excitement. Yet, if there is a ‘trippy’ concert nearby that is where Dustin wants to be. The following gives a general idea of my friend Dustin McDonald, but it takes meeting him in person to actually experience the exhilarating rush of craziness and spontaneity he brings to a room with his laugh-out-loud personality.
