The Government is determined to press ahead with large-scale road pricing trials, despite clear opposition from voters across the country. Durham City was chosen as a guinea pig for road pricing in 2002. City of Durham Conservatives are opposed to road pricing, tolls and inner relief roads, which are expensive and inflexible. We want to see solutions, which are sustainable and provide genuine choice for Durham residents and motorists.
