| 3 | Rod Belt | This travesty is on your watch and besmirches your names - you need to act now. |

| 20 | Imogen Hardy | The Cathedral bookshop is a vital resource for Durham Theology students- please don't leave us to rely on the patchy selection in Waterstones! |

| 22 | Alan Mann | As a writer of Christian books (both academic and theological), a distance learning tutor for lay people wishing to pursue a theological education alongside their day-to-day lives, and someone who thinks biblical and theological literacy is an ongoing necessity for the renewal of Christ's Church, it is a travesty that we are slowly loosing a chain of shops that supplied some of the most vital and relevant theological material.
Our SPCK shop in Bristol has been closed - don't let Durham go the same way. |

I know the value of a bookshop that stocks a truly broad range of theolgical books and resources. |

| 33 | Rev John Musson | When our son was at Durham, we visited the bookshop and bought lots of resources for the church...and some clerical shirts too - I would rate it as the best SPCK shop I have visited |

I was in Chester a few days ago and there has been a similar deterioration there. Thank God for Blackwells in Oxford! |
