i am asking for any one who has received any form of damage to their tyres or would just like to see the mess on the roads from Duns Scrap yard in Smethwick cleared up. the dust from when they shread plastics and metal fibres that are thrown into the air land on our modes of transport and wont do a lot of good to the paint work, not to mention our lungs. I have had 3 punctures on my motorbike in just over a month. the cost for me is close on 300pounds due to this. not to mention the dangers related to a possible tyre blow out. i have started to find small scratches in my paint work from the abrasive materials that are blown over from their site. I have already approached the local council about this matter and awaiting a reply. To make my case stronger I am looking for people to speak up and add their name to my list of people affected/ annoyed by the amount of junk metal and other hazardous objects that the scrap yard on the corner near the Soho site.
