My local club, Dundalk FC, who are far from a rich club, have been faced with a huge fine, which I'm sure they are unable to pay. The club have been fined around 20,000 thousand euro for a fan misplaying a Palestinian flag at a UEFA Europa League match against Hajduk Split. To put it in perspective, Spanish side Villareal were fined 12,000 euro for a fan throwing a banana at Dani Alves.
